Woke up this morning achy and stopped up and tired. When things didn’t improve through the morning we decided to stick.to our Culloden tour at 10am and then return to the hotel so I could rest. The Culloden battlefield was interesting. Our tour guide was good at keeping the history engaging and also helping to mythbust common myths about the Jacobites in general and the Battle of Culloden specifically. This was the final stand of the Jacobites and Bonnie Prince Charlie in their attempt to put James VII back on the English throne. It was an utter defeat and ended any chances for James to retake the crown. Once the tour was over I was definitely worn out so i went to the hotel and slept most of the rest of the day while.becly did some things around the city center of Inverness. I think I am feeling some better and I finally ate some light dinner so we will see how tomorrow goes as we transition to the Isle of Skye.
